Organized By and For the Computer
Users
in the Beautiful Missouri Ozarks
The Ozark Mountain Computer Users (OMCU) is a club whose members are local
people interested in learning the basics of home computer operation and in furthering
their knowledge of computer hardware, related digital systems, and application programs.
Beginners can obtain help from other members through one-on-one instruction or via
telephone and email.
Club members meet for two hours each month. These meetings provide an opportunity for
members to seek answers to computer questions and to relate personal experiences with
computers and other digital systems.
The monthly meetings provide an opportunity for members and outside experts to conduct
how-to demonstrations. Outside experts present programs on a range of computer and related
topics.
The monthly meetings provide an opportunity to disseminate and discuss useful information
and tips about the digital world.
OMCU seeks to provide a way for computer users to learn and stay up with advances in
computers and related digital systems, devices and software.
The public is invited to attend our meetings. If you decide to become a member our
annual dues are only $20.00 per household. This fee includes admittance to all
meetings. The dues offset the organizations cost for meeting locations, mailings and
other operating expenses.
